Custom Fabrication

CR Metal Fabricators (CRMF) has always prided itself on its ability to solve customer's problems in a prompt manner at the least cost, giving the best value package. Very low turnover rate and journeymen with an average of 24 years experience in the trade allows CRMF the depth to solve even the most demanding fabrication and installation projects.

CRMF has completed many projects over the years such as fabricating and installing light gauge stainless steel walls welded inside paper machines on demanding overhaul schedules, fabricating and installing irregular shaped blowpipe systems in mine crushing plants, designing and fabricating unusual hopper and feeders for the aquaculture industry, redesigning and fabricating heavy equipment body parts, fabricating and installing a large diameter pipeline that transfers fish fry to a river at a remote location on Vancouver Island to name just a few.

CRMF enjoys the challenge that unusual projects bring and their combined experience, quality machinery, tools and enthusiasm has earned a sound reputation in the market place.

Truck Box Liners

Explosive Transportation Trucks

CR Metal Fabricators has developed explosive transportation boxes and bodies for the forest, mining, road building and oil and gas industry.

They range from aluminum bolt-in boxes that fit in a pickup box with barrier laminate dividers between the explosive area and the detonator area, to complete carrier bodies fabricated from steel with non-sparking urethane lining, barrier laminate dividers, accessory storage cabinets and drill steel carrier tubes. All meet Transport Canada requirements.

Art Shapes

Our state of the art computerized HyDefinition plasma cutting system allows us to cut shapes in steel, stainless steel and aluminum to exacting tolerances. Materials may be as thin as .032 and as thick as 1.25", in sheet sizes up to 72" x 120".

Functional Shapes

The shapes can be from your dxf file cad drawing or we can program the shape on our computers. Our computer programs also allow us to do complex layout of sheet metal fittings, cones, elbows, transitions,Y branches etc, mechanical shapes, bolt flanges, sheet metal fittings and more. The limit of what can be cut is the limit of your imagination.

Garden Art

Decorative sculpture and rusted garden art are also in our repertoire. Choose from one of our designs or send us your own. We'll custom cut to your imagination!

Custom house numbers, wall plaques, fence decorations for the garden and childrens' rooms and free-standing fireplace fronts are just a few of the possible applications.
